Amanda Overmyer Band Shoot

I have way too many favorites not to share, hence the large number of photos. :D 

Just a little information behind this shoot: 

We were going through a heat-wave the day we shot and we ended up shooting inside an abandon school near Amanda's hometown- no AC (and Cozy the drummer kept reminding me of that as the sweat dripped down my back)!

The last picture (of AO on her bike) is a throwback to Janis Joplin's CD cover. I thought it was very appropriate since a lot of critics say AO sounds like Joplin. 

I had a fantastic time on this shoot and can't wait to travel with the band in the Chilemobile this summer! More photos to come!

Ashley & Matt Engagement Photos

Aryn & Shawn

Aryn and Shawn were so much fun to work with. We started out our Formal Picture Excursion by taking the Boilermaker Express to downtown Lafayette. We shot around the court house, in an alley and the train depot. Then, we hopped back onboard and headed to Purdue to shoot around the fountains and the bell tower. On our way to the bell tower I noticed the nicest looking old lady with an awesome blue bike sitting on a bench. I asked her if we could borrow her bike for pictures but she replied something in Russian. So, the groom acted out the question and her response seemed to mean she was fine with it. That was the first adventure. After shooting around campus, we headed back to the Union for the ceremony. Afterward, we shot more around the Union. One of the stops was Pappy's Sweet Shop and the Bowling Ally- which made for some fun and unique pictures. I loved it!

Erica & Ryan

My two assistants and I had a great time shooting Erica and Ryan's wedding. The ceremony was held in Monticello then everyone car pooled to West Lafayette for the reception at the Purdue Memorial Union. Erica and Ryan were pros for posing for pictures and had great ideas and locations in mind.
