60 Degree Winter Wedding

Morgan and Dan got married two days after Christmas on a day that normally would be freezing, have snow-covered ground, and icy roads. Instead, it was 60 degrees.  So we took advantage of the weather and shot their together photos outside which worked out perfectly.
This couple is the most affectionate couple I have ever worked with, which makes my job of capturing their love very easy. Instead of telling the couple to kiss, I had to tell them to stop kissing and look at the camera....but most of the time I just let them kiss and I did my thing. :)
I am very grateful to have the chance to shoot with them and document their love for each other and love in their family.
A few days after their wedding, Morgan called to thank me for my hard work and comment on the photos she had just seen online. She said "I never thought I would have such beautiful photos of my wedding. I look forward to the day when I can show my kids these amazing pictures." Thanks Morgan! That made my day!

December Baby

Born 12 days earlier, Garrett completed his first photo shoot and passed with flying colors and no crying.  He was such a good baby and always is according to his parents. He slept most of the time but would wake up just long enough so I could get a few pictures with his eyes open. Not only does he have very sweet and caring parents to look after him but also two large dogs that have welcomed him into their family.

Little Christmas Girlies

These two angelic girls were fabulous to work with. They were both photogenic at various points throughout the shoot. I fell in love with their bright blue eyes and the fact that they both love their dolls. Sophie and I had something in common. We both own and enjoy American Girl dolls. In fact, Santa might be bringing Sophie another one for Christmas!

Vallier Family Portraits

My favorite place to shoot is outside in the beautiful natural light but when the universe gives you lemons with cold, damp, overcast weather, you are forced to go indoors and make lemonade the best you can..... And, boy, did we make lemonade! Not really, we played with toys, read books and got a taste of what life is like in the Vallier house.

Chassity & Justin Engagements

All I told them was to be themselves and show their affection for each other. Voila!

Lauren & Tim

Lauren called me as soon as Tim popped the question to tell me she wanted me to shoot her wedding. She didn't have a date picked out yet but knew she wanted me to be a part of it. Fast forward about a year and a half... I get another call from Lauren that told me the date of her wedding and the locations: November 15 at Ross Camp Chapel. For those of you who haven't been to Ross Camp in West Lafayette, it's a gorgeous old camp that has the most beautiful little chapel on the grounds. The chapel is so old it doesn't have running water in it but still has it's charm as you can see from the photos.

Kristin & Toby

Kristin and Toby held there ceremony in a church near the most beautiful railroad tracks. I couldn't pass up the chance to shoot on them...

Jake Senior Pics Rounds uno and dos

Jake is a senior at Jeff with a very artistic/ modern style. If he were about 5 years older, he could be straight out of a GQ magazine. This is the third time I've shot his portraits in the past 2 years. His mom wasn't happy with his junior pictures from school so she hired me to shoot them. Then, this past summer we shot his senior photos while he had dread locks. He eventually took the dreads out and his mom wanted post-dread photos.
